Roots of Home

Our mission is family. We want to embrace those children, youth and parents walking through family disruption and brokeness. We desire to equip these families with resources, supportive communities and the skills to mend relationships and begin new legacies within their families. We also want to empower foster families to continue in their important role of helping children and families heal by providing on-going training, resources and support. 

Clothing and household items for foster families to equip them for foster children entering their home. We also provide meeting space for birth families who have children currently in the foster care system.

Currently our biggest needs are monthly financial partners to open our first resource enter in Montezuma. This resource center will be a place for birth parent visits in a home setting to build health relational connections. This center will also be a place we will collect gently used clothing and baby items in order to fully equip foster families receiving new children or youth into their home. We will also need volunteers in the next few weeks to help with minor construction projects and furnishing the new space so it can become fully operational very soon! Thank you!
